Leadership Development Program

What is Multipliers Leadership Development?

Leaders who embrace the mindset and practices of a Multiplier believe that everyone has genius waiting to be used in a greater way. They increase the intelligence of everyone around them because they believe that learning beats knowing any day. And through reflective practices to boost their self-awareness, they understand when their leadership style might accidentally diminish others around them, and make new Multiplier moves to bring out the best thinking.

Traditional leadership development programs focus on how to be smart, confident, and commanding.

The Multipliers Leadership Coaching Curriculum is significantly different and immediately practical, focusing on 2 key areas:

  1. The leader that increases their self-awareness understands more about themselves and their leadership biases and tendencies, which helps them shift towards liberating, trusting, and magnetic leadership practices.
  2. By becoming more curious about others and the intelligence that surrounds them, their default stance will shift into more of a coach, tapping into and using the resourcefulness of those around them. The Multiplier leader grows their coaching capacity and skill on a daily basis.

What Are The Benefits Of Multiplier Practices?

Simply put, the leadership changes you’ll work through are game changing to you and everyone around you, such as:

  • Shifting from needing to be the smartest person in the room, to the person who draws out the smarts from everyone else.
  • Moving from a leadership stance of “telling” to a stance of “asking”.
  • Building trust that people are smart and will figure it out.
  • Becoming a leader that’s known for growing and developing everyone in their presence.

Proven Impact On Team And Leadership Performance

Research conducted by Liz Wiseman shows that team members contribute less than 50% of their capability when working with leaders who practice Diminisher disciplines such as micromanagement, resource hoarding, creating a tense environment that suppresses people’s thinking, being a know-it-all, and leading with abrupt, siloed decisions.

The same research showed that team members contribute 2x their capability, exceeding their own expectations, when working with leaders who practice Multiplier disciplines such as assuming and using people’s genius, trusting people by developing a challenging environment built to draw out their best thinking, helping people to stretch, and investing in their abilities by providing more opportunities to showcase their genius.

Here’s a real-world example of the impact of coaching with Jason:

  • “Before working with Jason, I had always been sceptical of coaching, viewing it more as a buzzword industry rather than a necessity. After working with Jason, my entire perspective of my leadership, my role, my ability to lead and influence others, and focus on what is truly important has transformed completely for the better. Jason pushed me in ways that I had not been before and often times I ended our sessions with more questions than answers and a desire to apply what we had covered that week. It became almost therapeutic, leaving me wanting to learn and grow more from each session. I entered our coaching agreement expecting to be guided and taught, but through Jason’s guidance and coaching I ended up teaching and guiding myself, a skill that will continue to have many benefits throughout my career. If you truly want to be challenged, grow as a leader, professional, and a person…Jason will help you achieve that. My time with him has fundamentally changed how I approach and view not just my career but also as a person, friend, and spouse and I’m positive it will have a lasting positive impact on me for many years to come. Jason is a highly valuable resource for anyone looking to reinvent or grow themselves in whatever aspect they require.” ~ Senior Manager, Denver
